In partnership with the Huntsville CVB, City of Huntsville and the Huntsville Sports Commission, we are thrilled to announce the 2024 Conference USA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament is landing in Huntsville!
Working hand-in-hand with our partners, Knight Eady put together a comprehensive bid that showcased everything the city of Huntsville has to offer. The bid highlighted the newly renovated Propst Arena as the perfect venue for the tournament with its updated locker rooms, main lobby, concession stands and hospitality spaces. Another feature that made the bid appealing to Conference USA is that Huntsville is centrally located within the Conference USA footprint with four schools within a 200 mile radius to the Rocket City. For teams traveling in, the airport and hotels in close proximity to Propst Arena boosted Huntsville’s appeal. In addition to the logistical appeal Huntsville offers, the city of Huntsville is a basketball town. We know that the members of the Huntsville community will support this event and pack the house for the 10 Conference USA teams, just like previous college basketball events!
Knight Eady is no stranger to hosting college basketball games. For four years (2016 - 2019), Knight Eady hosted the Rocket City Classic, a neutral-site basketball game that featured Alabama. Similar to hosting First and Second Rounds of March Madness, Knight Eady will manage the event and game operations, ticket marketing and media relations for the Conference USA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament.
We can’t wait to be back in the Rocket City March 12-16, 2024 for the Conference USA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament! Conference USA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament will call Huntsville home through 2025.
